Box-Office: 'SDZ' On The Top This Week
1. Shankardada Zindabad:
The film made great opening collections like any other Chiranjeevi's movie in all the centers. The talk of the film has come out as 'class'. The masses are not that happy with this film and we have to see how far family audiences patronize it. As on date the film sits on position-1 in the Toppers list of the week.
2. Lakshyam:
The film is still standing on its stand in position-2 unaltered. The collections o the film is pretty good but affected by the release of Shankardada Zindabad this week. Gopichand and Jagapathi Babu's combination with Anushka factor clearly worked well for the film and it is in position-2 of the toppers list of the week.
3. Shivaji:
The collections of this film were dropped drastically but still holding the box office in its own way. The mush hyped film is surviving only for the hype that it created before its release. Rajni factor is the only thing that is holding it in theaters even now. The film sits in position-3 of Toppers list of the week.
4. Toss:
The collections of the film have come down and in many centers it is making only 35 percent of collections. Priyadarashini Ram's style of making a film fast screenplay gave a different look for it. Upendra is the only salable factor among masses for this film. But weak narration made the film weak on a whole. The film sits on position-4 of the toppers list of the week.

5. Dubai Seenu:
Although the collections of the film have come down, it is sustaining on the verge of toppers list of the week. Ravi Teja and Nayantara paired up in this film and Sreenu Vaitla's direction with comedy mixed with action made the film successful. It sits in position-5 of the toppers list of the week.

She informed that it would have six songs that are penned by Bapu's favorite Veturi. Jonnavittula too writes couple of songs to the tunes of Vidyasagar.
Uday Kiran expressed his joy that it has been shaping out well. Producer Polisetty Rambabu said that the film would hit the bull's eye. "We are planning to release the audio in the first week of August. Film too releases by the end of month," he said.
Snippet: Allu Arjun doesn't discuss his girl
The lover boy characters that Allu Arjun played in 'Arya" and "Desamuduru" are far from his real life character. Besides acting in films, Arjun is deeply passionate about photography. He is particularly fond of still photography. Taking pictures is something he has been doing for many years now.
Arjun says that deep down he is a shy and reserved person who hates to talk about his intimate feelings and about the people he is close to. This is where photography fills the gap.
The actor says this hobby gives him an emotional release.
"I find it very hard to talk about my relationships…that's where the photography in me surfaces. It helps me to exteriorize my thoughts," Arjun adds that he takes photos only for himself and has no intention of publishing them or even showing them to anyone.
On the movie front, Arjun is extremely excited about being part of the forthcoming Dil Raju's Film directed by Bommarillu Bhaskar.

Buzz: Genelia Leading the Chaos on Sets!
Genelia now has enough work to throw tantrums on the sets. Or at least that's what it looks like. With two consecutive hits "Bommarillu" and 'Dhee", she started throwing tantrums. It is know secret that once fame goes in to star's heads they behave like that. She is currently acting in a film opposite a young hero. It is learned that she has been crabby on the sets. Sometimes she just doesn't turn up for the shoot.
"She is rude and throws tantrums. The production team is having a tough time rescheduling timings and reworking," revealed a source. The actress mother said in her daughter defense: "we had informed the team beforehand that she will not be able to devote much time to them."
Another source confirmed what she said was true. But that still doesn't explain Genelia's rude behavior, does it?
Gossip: Will Puri Jagannath Forget Direction?
Though director Puri Jagannath has tripled his reputation with his Herculean task of introducing Charan as hero, he is not deriving professional satisfaction, sources close to him reveal. It is usual with the members of Mega Stars' family to intervene with the making of the film, irrespective of the respect the director commands in the industry. Puri is no exception to this.
Every scene he shoots is prejudged. He is left with little choice to infuse his style in making.
He kept on amending the script and re-shooting many scenes, though he felt he had done them well.
'He may forget direction' by the time he finishes 'Chiruta', his friends sarcastically pity him.
Trisha thinking seriously to produce films
The sensuous actress is thinking of moving beyond just acting in films. Trisha is reported to be thinking of launching her film production company.Sources say Trisha has been toying with this idea for a long time. Now that her acting career has reached a new high and she is set to play the lead roles in southern films. Trisha thinks this is the right time to venture into film production.
In fact, the actress is said to be roping in her cousin to look at the financial part of the production business.
Reports also have it that scripts have already started pouring in at her office. Many writers and directors are keen to work with Trisha's production company. Some of the scripts have reportedly been written keeping her in mind for the lead role.
Let's hope she will taste success as a producer also.
Raj-Shilpa affair is an open secret
The actress plans to buy a Mayfair apartment to be with her ‘friend’LONDON: Kavita Kundra’s outburst against her ex-husband Raj Kundra and actress Shilpa Shetty has created a dilemma for the couple who now cannot come out into the open about their ‘relationship’.
Friends of Raj Kundra, told media that Raj and Shilpa were ‘close’ but denied that the relationship had begun while Raj and Kavita were still together. “Kavita left Raj long before he met Shilpa, so how can she blame Shilpa for the break-up of her marriage,” said a close friend of the film producer and UK businessman, Raj Kundra.
“Their daughter was only about two- month old when Kavita insisted that she could not live with Raj anymore and left him,” said the friend. He insisted that Raj met Shilpa much after she won Celebrity Big Brother in January, by which time Raj and Kavita had already separated and were well on the way to a divorce.
“Kavita simply saw pictures of them together and got jealous and wanted to put a spanner in the works, and she has been successful,” said the friend.
Shilpa is also hoping to buy an apartment in the exclusive Mayfair area as a second home. With her relationship with Raj thriving, Shilpa is interested in spending more time in the UK. However, now thanks to Kavita’s outburst, Shilpa and Raj are on the radar of the British tabloids who follow them hoping to snap the two of them together.
Gossip: Chiranjeevi Will Not Open His Mouth!
Chiranjeevi will not open his mouth until 'Chirutha' releases. This is the impression that is making rounds every where. Right now Chiranjeevi is amidst the problems of Pawan Kalyan, where Nandini, the wife of Pawan complained on Chiranjeevi as well as the one who troubled her during her stay with Pawan Kalyan just after the marriage. Simran Says About 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus'
Simran says that her character in 'John Appa Rao 40 plus' is the one close to her heart. She said that she has been accepting the roles after a lot of introspection. She said that although many offers had come to her way she is choosing only a few. She is now acting in the film 'Okka Magadu' and the next film that she signed is 'John Appa Rao 40 Plus'.
"My character in John Appa Rao 40 Plus is quite different from others. I never played such role and the film runs with my lead role. This comedy thriller would certainly be a successful venture", Simran added.
The shooting of the film is going on in Thailand and a few scenes were canned on Simran and Krishna Bhagawan there. Koochipudi Venkat is producing and directing this film.
Nostalgia: Mammooty- A Very Big Egoist
Film circles those know about Mammooty say that he is very egoistic when compared his remuneration with that of top stars in Tollywood. At the same time he never spares any producer from Tollywood if approached him for a role.When a writer approached Mammooty along with a small producer a few months ago for asking him to play a role in his film (also directed by the writer himself), Mammooty showed his willingness listening to that but said that he would act only when he is paid the remuneration that is given to Chiranjeevi for a film in Telugu. That made the writer startled and he left the place.
Well, the writer is JK Bharavi and the story he narrated was 'Model', a novel written by Vakkantham Surya Narayana. So, it is understood that Mammooty goes egoistic when he sees a Telugu producer.

When we asked few of them about it, they did not seem willing to answer. After much persistence one of them who is a music director, said: "I'm doing my own part in my own way and I do not think I need to boast about it in the media."

Screen Talk: Puri Jaganath's Lucky Room
Puri reveals the secret behind their success.
He said, "I'm quite superstitious about the place where I write my script. There are certain places where the ideas flow non stop. One of such places is my bed room. When I was writing Pokiri, like any other writer I too faced the writer's block. But as soon as I sat in my bedroom, I just couldn't stop writing. Something similar happened when I was in Bangkok; I found my hotel room a great place for writing "Chirutha".
May be Puri should permanently book that hotel room in Bangkok. That way we will surely get to see many more good flicks from him.
Screen Talk : Tanushree's makeover story
Tanushree Dutta is taking fellow actress Bipasha Basu's advice seriously and is going in for a complete makeover.
It all started with a recent chat show in which Bipasha was asked which glamourous actress needed a makeover, Bipasha replied that Tanushree is so good looking and sensuous, but she if would change her stylist, she would be one of the most glamourous actors around.
“When it was brought to Tanushree’s notice, she took it very positively, especially since it came from Bipasha,” a source said. Tanushree has decided now to work on her looks and outfits. Now, international fashion designer Babita Malkani will be styling her.
When she started out in Bollywood, Tanu was slim but she had to put on some weight because after winning the Miss India Universe title she had got some offers from the South, so the directors and producers there insisted she put on some weight.
Tanushree is now on a fitness spree and has joined a gym and dance classes to keep herself fit. Bong connection works!

Meera Jasmine has been in the news for the wrong reasons — she reportedly broke down at a public function due to strained family relations, her linkup with a director and then an actor, entry into a Hindu temple and so on. This talented actress, who won the national award for the best actress, is known to be intensely private. So when it was reported that she secretly got married at Tirumala (though she was away in Kolkata shooting for a film) Meera reacted rather strongly. “I don’t understand why the media is after me. Why should I go to Tirupati and marry secretly? When I marry, it will be a grand function. I have been targeted by gossipmongers several times earlier. Work is my passion,” she said adding that she no longer lets gossip get to her.
