NTR`s daughter ridicule`s Naidu`s claim
Charging TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu with "deceiving her father", D Purandeshwari, daughter of N T Rama Rao, has asked naidu to refrain from using NTR's name to "achieve political and personal gains."

In a letter to Naidu, Purandeshwari, who is the Union Minister of State for HRD and sister-in-law of TDP chief, recalled all those incidents which had "pained" NTR by trusting Naidu.

Naidu is currently holding his party's silver jubilee celebrations at Tirupati.

Purandeswari reminded Naidu of the last cassette recorded by NTR just before his demise which asked people of Andhra Pradesh not "cast their vote for you (Naidu)".

"NTR persistently refused to associate your name with himself during the painful last days of his life," she said.

NTR's son Balakrishna hints at entering politics
N. Balakrishna, Popular Telugu film actor and son of late thespian and former Andhra Pradesh chief minister N.T. Rama Rao, Monday said he might join politics at an appropriate time.

He said his priority for now is films, but he did not rule out entering politics in future. He was responding to queries from his fans at a function in Kakinada to pay tributes to NTR on his 85th birth anniversary.

Family members, party leaders and fans paid rich tributes to NTR, who founded the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), currently Andhra Pradesh's main opposition.

NTR's son-in-law and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu paid tributes to the leader at the temple town of Tirupati at the party's 25th Mahanadu or annual convention. Another son of NTR, Harikrishna, a TDP leader, was also present.

Balakrishna's comments about his entry into politics are significant as only two days ago it was announced that Naidu's son Lokesh will marry Balakrishna's daughter Brahmnai.

The alliance was also being seen in some circles as an attempt by Naidu to put a halt to Balakrishna's political ambitions and at the same get closer to the NTR family.

Balakrishna's comments are not new. On Jan 18, the death anniversary of his father, he had said that he could make a surprise entry into politics, just like NTR did in 1982.

NTR, who enjoyed the status of a demigod in the state, had come to power in the state within nine months of launching the TDP.

Naidu had led a revolt against NTR in 1995, a year after he returned to power with a thumping majority. NTR died of a heart attack in 1996.

With none of NTR's eight sons matching his charisma, Naidu strengthened his position as his political successor. He still uses NTR's name to garner public support. NTR figures prominently in the TDP's publicity material and party meetings are held with huge pictures of NTR in the backdrop.

Meanwhile, NTR's second wife Lakshmi Parvathi, whose interference in party affairs and administration in 1995 led to Naidu's revolt, Monday paid tributes to NTR at his memorial in Hyderabad.

Parvathi, who went into political oblivion after her husband's death, alleged that Naidu had 'backstabbed' NTR to grab power but now that he is in opposition is using his name to come back to power.

Nostalgia: SVR's Hunger Was Unit Members Fear

SV Ranga Rao is known for his uncompromised approach on any of his personal aspect. He is fond of food and his huger hould be quenched in time. If the time crosses 2 pm without lunch then he would start shouting for the fear of all unit members. Once he made big uproar in the unit for not arranging him food till 3 pm.

People ran here and there to meet his requirement. No one would dare to give carrier to him even after the food has come from hotel. Because, they know that the carrier bearer has to receive all words of anger from him. At last things settled down with the involvement of producer.

SVR has forgotten everything and spend time happily with unit members once his hunger was quenched. Not only in the matter of performance, even in the matter of food he lived like a lion.

Spotlight: Ramoji May End Up As Maran!

Here we are discussing about an artiste, a businessman and a media baron those are sleeping with King Cobras. Yes, they are in false company and may get the bite any time,

Anil Ambani, the legal heir of a legendary industrialist Dheerubhai Ambani and big businessman by himself is behind Amitabh, Amar Singh and Mulayam all these days.

Why Anil runs behind Amitabh? Amitabh is a mere film actor while Anil is a responsible businessman. His brother Mukhesh maintains reserved ness with film actors and his property is worth Rs 1.2 Lakh Crore. But Anil is other way round. He keeps himself down standing beside Amitabh all the while. Amitabh is biased for SWP. How can his fans from other parties continue their favoritism? If not 100% there would be split of about 20%.

Now, the UP whip has gone into the hands of Mayawati. Reports say that attempts were started to curb the businesses of Anil Ambani. Well, that may not be a direct rivalry with him. It is only an attempt to weaken Anil and make him go away from Mulayam without supporting him. Amitabh also has some businesses on lands and they had been blessed by Mulayam till now. But now Mayawati is eyeing on them. What does it say? An artiste or businessman should project themselves neutral although they possess partiality to a political party. That's one aspect.

Now coming to Ramoji Rao we have to consider Dayanidhi Maran's case. Murasoli Maran was a nephew of Karunanidhi and the latter loved him very much. Murasoli's son Dayanidhi Maran wrote a critical analysis on the public following of Karunadhi's sons in his News Paper. We all know that one of the sons got infuriated for projecting him down in comparison with his brother Stalin and created big uproar in the state. Now Dayanidhi is made powerless and tyranny is triggered on him. The family that supported him all the while suppressed him now. Now Kalainjar TV is also going to hit as big vie for Sun TV that belongs to Marans. So with a small incident, the distances were ploughed big.

Ramoji Rao has been holding the tail of TDP publicly. On the other hand he is also suppressing Congress in his News Paper. That's good for Freedom of Expression. But he is not maintaining the poise being a media baron. That may affect him on detrimental line. Even though TDP comes to power in 2009 Ramoji Rao needn't consider that it would be a permanent soft journey with it. If Chandrababu feels that he is supreme in the state and his seat is not in trouble for few more years down the line, even a small cartoon in Ramoji's Eenadu may infuriate him. Ramoji may taste the venomous bite of 'Cobra' then. Apart from that, if Congress continues its power even after 2009, then again Ramoji will be on the gallows of tensions, stress and defeat.

So, it's high time for Ramoji and he should open his eyes. Will he try to be unbiased at least now? Or will he walk on the path of Dayanidhi Maran?
